Haverhill are the League Champions

If you haven't won the League Title since 1972 it would be very nice to do it in style, and that's what Haverhill did when they won at Weston Colville. Set an incredible 218 to win they did it in only 16.2 overs with Sam Powell hitting 157 no to create a new league record. Adam Dellar was at the other end with 45 no.

Earlier Haverhill must have been very down as Adam Curtis 86, Adrian Westley 57 and Evan Gard 53 no set a very big score for Weston Colville. Having been so close last year the nerves and tension was high as they didn't want to lose out again, but super Sam came good and they returned to Haverhill very happy and received their League Champions trophy at their ground in front of the remaining spectators of the League Cup final. The shield  was picked up Joe Woodley in his first year as captain.

League Cup Final

Hundon 1 v Manor

Hundon 1 batted first and went for it big time with Ed Harper 49 and Akram Khan 69 in the early overs, this slowed down when they were dismissed and with Steve Lanceman at his best bowling tight and taking wickets it gave Manor some hope Lanceman finishing with the very creditable figures of 5-26. How ever Naveed Mohammid hit a very quick 29 to take Hundon to 198. Manor struggled with the bat and finished on 88 to give Hundon revenge for last years defeat.
